Actress Cynthia Nixon and her partner Christine Marinoni yesterday showed off their son for the first time. Education activist Christine, 43, who has been in a relationship with Cynthia since 2004, gave birth to Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni in New York on Monday.
The couple had not announced they were expecting a child and have not revealed any details of the child’s biological father.
Cynthia and Christine met at an education rally in 2002 and became a couple two years later. They announced their engagement at a marriage equality rally in New York in 2009.
