Curator discusses artifact donated by gay Holocaust survivor

As young, gay, Jewish men living in Nazi Berlin, companions Manfred Lewin and Gad Beck faced much uncertainty. In 1941, Manfred made Gad a small, 17-page booklet, recording moments from their daily life and titled it, "Do you remember, when." In this short video, the Museum's Representative for Europe and curator of the online exhibition based on this artifact, Klaus Mueller, describes the story the book tells and recalls how the Museum came to acquire it.
