On February 14th, Equality Maryland held its annual lobby day and rally in Annapolis. This year, the state is poised to end marriage discrimination against same-sex couples and enact a statute to ban discrimination against transgender Marylanders. Speakers included Equality Maryland Executive Director Morgan Meneses-Sheets, Standing on the Side of Love Campaign Manager Dan Furmansky, Attorney General Doug Gansler, Trans-United Founder and Director Sandy Rawls, Delegate Ariana Kelly, and Sen.
