This Is Courage: Patrick Murphy, Dan Choi, Alec Baldwin.

Three people, willing to take a stand.

This is courage:

"Patrick Murphy fought in Iraq... And then in the House... I watched him line up the votes for us, shoulder to shoulder, for repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

"All of sudden you see this President give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to discrimination and injustice..."

"There is one reason, and one reason only that I can't marry Jesse -- the New York State Senate."

One person, unwilling to take a stand.

This is not courage:

On Wednesday, the Obama administration's Justice Department filed an emergency request with the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to stay (legalese for suspend) a federal judge's October 12 order which declared the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy unconstitutional.
