Saud was not present at the hearing regarding his expenses, according to the U.K. Press Association. He will have to serve at least 20 years behind bars before becoming eligible for parole.
The 34-year-old prince was convicted of killing Bandar Abdulaziz, a servant who was brutally assaulted "with a sexual element" in a London hotel in February. The two were believed to have been lovers.
