A Right Wing Press Conference

By David Mixner-

Gayrights_090629_mn   Increasingly all over America we have seen Tea Bag and Right Wing candidates hide behind the words and actions of the Obama team when it comes to LGBT rights. We have seen it in debates, press interviews and in literature. The fact of the matter is that Obama has gone from not helping us to actually hurting us. More important he has left those brave Democrats who support full equality swinging in the wind.

The following questions and answers at a 'press conference' by a right wing candidate could be happening any where in America right now:

Reporters Question: Sir, what is your opinion on gay marriage?

Rightwing Candidate: My position is exactly the same as President Obama's, marriage should only be between a man and a women.

Reporters Question: Sir, what is your opinion on the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"?

Rightwing Candidate: There is no question in my mind that Obama's Justice Department is doing the right thing in challenging Judge Phillip's decision. This is not an issue for the courts and certainly not a constitutional issue. The Republican controlled Congress should make that decision in the next session.
