The fashion and political world joined together today to mourn the death of fashion designer and political activist Charles Nolan. Mr. Nolan died of cancer at the age of 53. His partner of over 16 years is Democratic Party official and best selling author Andy Tobias. Andy and Charles were a feature on the American fashion, political and society scene for many years. Charles left the fashion world to work full time for Governor Howard Dean for President. Inspired by his love of country and freedom, many of Nolan's fashion designs and shows featured themes to reflect that passion. Our love, support and thoughts are with Andy Tobias, Charle's family and their friends.
